Things to do at the Rally
- 1) Thursday is a no pressure day, set aside for you to explore the campground or the historic city of Woodstock. Once you set up your campsite, you can shop the local Woodstock square, explore the specialty stores (from novelty, retail and re-sale shops to candy stores), take in a movie or grab some lunch at one of the many local taverns and eateries. Once it gets dark, we will have a Thursday night at the outdoor Movies lawn chair night.
- 2) Friday - If you did not get out on Thursday, you can explore the historic square of Woodstock on Friday, or visit the sites used to film Groundhogs Day, or go to a few local garage sales or antiquing in neighboring Richfield or Hebron. In the evening (starting around 6:30) we will have the ever popular Progressive Trailer Tour and Coctail/Appetizer Party with the fun twist of socializing by Pods of trailers, awards will be given for "Best Pod Experiance" and "Best Pod Coctail or Appetizer"; then we can get together at the group campfire and do a little talking or Karaoke singing.
- 3) Saturday - Have some fun at the Fair Diddley Craft Fair at the Boone County Fairgrounds, enjoy some local hiking or fishing at Will Oaks or at one of the many local McHenry County Conservation District scenic areas, drive through the sceenic winding country roads of Bull Vally and see the fall colors as you explore the local nature areas, Retail, Craft and Thrift shops in our neighboring towns. At around 6:30 enjoy a pot luck dinner followed by the famous Trailer Trash Speed Get-A-Gift program and ending in a group campfire and imprompto sing-a-long.
- 4) Sunday - is a group coffee and bring a continental breakfast item to share with the group for morningsend off. Time to pack up your trailer, say goodby to your new friends and enjoy a leasurly trip home and if you missed Fair Diddley on Saturday, go see the Crafts at the Boone County Fairground before you head on home.
What You Have To Bring
NOT MUCH
- A Favorite Coctail or Appetizer to share with the group on Friday night. The Friday night Trailer Tour Coctail Party, will be grouped in 4 to 5 Trailer "Party Pods" per social stop. Awards will be given for the best Pod experience, food and drink.
-A Pass Around dish for the Saturday night Potluck.
-Any Musical instrument or Kareokee CD you may have that you think we would have fun with for some evening entertainment around the campfire.
